Father; please have mercy on all of your people,
and put an end to the religious wars...
and the terrorism that goes with them.
Please help us to get out of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Let there be reasonable settlements there,
and please protect the people that helped us.
Don't let us go to war with anyone else.
Help us to be a better people,
able to settle our differences peacefullu.
Help us to be more honest, more merciful, and more tolerant.
Help us to walk in your ways,
and to spread our faith and our freedoms
by example, not by force of arms.
I pray for peace in Jesus' name.
